In Life and On the roads…
Knowing how to slow down is more important than knowing how to speed up
--
Remember that rush of pulling down the accelerator when you learned how to drive/ride a bike/car?
Now, do you remember when you became unbalanced and almost fell down right after you increased the speed?
That’s the thing about speed. You lose control.
It’s easy to lose control
When you are so high on adrenaline (Excited), it’s easy to lose control.
I’ve been riding bikes for almost 13 years and cars for nearly 7 years. With my experience, I can tell you- If you want to become a great driver/rider, you need to learn how and when to slow down.
That applies to life as well
In the current time, we are so desperate to become rich, successful that we lose all the control of our own lives. That eventually leads us to FAILURE rather than success.
It’s very easy to lose yourself when things are going great, which is good. But, our desire to keep things going great all the time, makes us impatient.
We do everything in our power to prevent our life from going good to less good (not exactly worse). We start burning money, time, relationships just to keep up. We eventually end up with less than what we had.
The best way to prevent that from happening is to SLOW DOWN.
Take a break or go slow until you find the road free enough to ride fast.
Enjoy the Journey.
